On Sunday, October 22nd, at 2 pm, Dr. Karen Becker of Covenant Wildlife Rehabilitation will be releasing a hawk back into the wild. We invite all who knew and loved Victoria to join us in this celebration of her life and legacy.

Whispering Oaks, a beautiful Spiritual Retreat Center located at 26310 Root Drive in south suburban Crete, is the location. It is a place that was close to Victoria's heart. She offered this description of Whispering Oaks on her Web site:

The center is situated in the midst of the woods, surrounded by all of nature, including a lovely, calming waterfall, flowers, natural herbs, crystals and all creatures great and small. To walk this land and experience this world brings you into awareness of the beauty and power of nature, and your divine place within it.
