Reiki for Animals

Energy exists as life force in every living being. The energy within each living being is described in quantum physics as holograms of light and energy which can be seen, felt and recognized. The existence of this non-physical energy has been well known since ancient times and has been documented by modern scientists.

What is Reiki?

The word Reiki is derived from Japanese. Rei which means "Universal" and Ki meaning Life Force. Translated, it means Universal Life Force. Reiki is an energy healing art which promotes harmony and balance on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels and enhances the quality of life. Reiki is a safe, natural spiritual healing that everyone can use. Reiki is a universal energy which operates through and in harmony with Divine Intelligence. Reiki has been used for thousands of years to assist all beings through the Universal Life Force.

Our Animal Companions give us their lives in partnership, love, devotion, and unending friendship. Their place in our lives does not come by chance or coincidence.

Each animal has a role in our lives, and they have a spiritual purpose to share with their human friends. When you understand and honor this truth, your animal companions become your teachers, healers, guides and friends.

Animals suffer stress and disharmony for many reasons including living in unnatural environments, commercially processed foods, absorbing the emotions and feelings of their human companions, even assuming disharmony, negative energy and diseases for their humans, as a way to protect their human friends from suffering.

Animals are receptive and understand telepathic communication and energy work. Their natural state of is one of wellness and balance and they are eager and willing to receive the balancing, healing influence of the energy of Reiki.

Reiki works in perfect harmony for animals as it is gentle and non-invasive. It does not create stress, anxiety, discomfort or pain, and yields remarkable and powerful results.

Reiki promotes healing for animals and assists in behavioral and emotional issues as well as physical illness and injuries. Reiki is a wonderful avenue to provide emotional well-being for rescue animals adopted into a new home and for those animals in shelters and foster homes. Reiki assists in maintaining animal health, creates relaxation for the animal and promotes a sense of peace, contentment and harmony.

For animals facing death, Reiki provides peace, comfort, relief from fear, pain and anxiety and eases their transition into death.

Reiki works in compliment to traditional forms of medicine and promotes wellness on all levels for animals and humans. Reiki compliments and enhances flower essence therapy, aromatherapy, herbal and homeopathic treatments, western medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, accupuncture, and other healing modalties.

Reiki treatment sessions are offered in person or through Distance Energy treatments. Distance treatments offer the same benefits as in-person sessions on an emotional, physical and spiritual level. Animals who are elderly or fragile and cannot travel, animals who may be fearful of strangers or unfamiliar situations and environments, small or fragile animals or animals nearing death can benefit from distance Reiki treatments.

At times distance Reiki sessions may be more convenient for you and your animal friends due to busy schedules, emergencies, trauma, illness or recovery from surgery. Distance Reiki also provides rescue animals with comfort and reduction in stress and anxiety from shelter life or introduction into their new homes.

Reiki is effective immediately and the shift in the well-being of the animal can be remarkable. Some conditions may require regular treatments to complete the healing process.

I am not a veterinarian; I do not diagnose medical issues, offer medical advise, prescribe drugs, or perform surgery.

I am an Animal Communicator, incorporating telepathy (translation/interpretation of visual pictures, thoughts, feelings, and emotions from animals) A consultation session may include energetic and holistic modalities such as Healing Touch, Sound Therapy, Aromatherapy, Flower Essences, and Reiki. Consultation sessions are based in higher purpose to provide you and your animal companion(s) with compassionate and supportive assistance.

As an Animal Communicator, my purpose and intent is to assist your animal(s) to convey their thoughts, feelings and emotions to you which provides you greater understanding of your animal friend(s).

The specific results of each consultation session will vary for each animal. Animal Communication is an art and not a science and is individualized for each animal. Beneficial effects of animal communication may include, but are not limited to; understanding of the animal's perspective on the source of behavioral problems, releasing trauma, fear and other emotions respective to injury, illness, and death. Animal communication encourages understanding between humans and animals and furnishes an avenue for humans to understand their animal's needs, viewpoints, feelings and emotions; and deepens the relationship between the animal and their person.

I understand that this practitioner is not a veterinarian, that the consultation/treatment/therapy is not to be considered as veterinary medical treatment, and that the comments, recommendations or suggestions are not to be construed as medical advice. Animal Communication and other holistic modalities are not a substitute for veterinary medical care, but a complement to it.

I, (owner or agent of the owner) agree to have this consultation/treatment/therapy on for my animal(s) and hereby acknowledge my consent as evidenced by my signature herein, in compliance with the Illinois Veterinary Medicine and Surgery Act of 2004.
